A fine mid 19th century commemorative circular bronze and ebony snuff box by Allen & Moore of Birmingham. The lid is embossed with a bust of Arthur, Duke of Wellington and the reverse is embossed with the Waterloo Memorial and the tomb of Wellington and inscribed “Britannia Mourns Her Hero Now At Rest”. The snuff box is also a celebration of the victory at Waterloo on the 18th June 1815.
